Spring in Boulder...the tree blossoms were amazing but only last for a week or so. But now comes the Farmer's Market, first on Saturdays and then on Wednesday evenings and Saturdays. I love looking at the colors of the market and the shapes of the veggies lined up on the tables. It's absolutely a wonderful source of inspiration for cooking and quilting! I love to go to the market and soak up the vibe and let my eyes feast on the goodness from the earth.
Many of my quilts have veg, maybe because I love to grow things, but living in the mountains, on a slope, clay soil, limited sunlight from 50 foot trees, with lots of critters to munch away, I have to enjoy the fruits of others labor. Off to the Farmer's Market!
